How to cancel Amazon Music subscription
If you’re ready to cancel your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription, follow these steps based on how you initially signed up. Whether you subscribed through Amazon or a third-party service, here’s what you need to know.
How to Cancel Amazon Music Unlimited if Subscribed Through Amazon
- Go to Your Amazon Music Settings: Sign in to your Amazon account and access Your Amazon Music Settings.
- Locate the Amazon Music Unlimited Section: Scroll to the Subscription Renewal section.
- Select Cancel: Click on the Cancel option to start the cancellation process and confirm to complete it.
Note: You can continue using Amazon Music Unlimited until your subscription’s end date. After this date, any music you’ve added to your library from Amazon Music Unlimited will be grayed out, and playback options will be disabled.
How to Pause Instead of Canceling (If Eligible)
If your subscription is eligible, you can opt to pause instead of canceling:
- Choose to pause your subscription at the end of your billing cycle, and resume it at any time while paused.
- This option isn’t available for annual plans, free trials, promotions, or if you subscribed through a third party like Apple or Google.
How to Cancel Amazon Music Unlimited if Subscribed Through a Third Party
If you signed up for Amazon Music Unlimited via iTunes, Google, or another provider, you’ll need to manage your cancellation through that platform:
- Apple Users: Visit Apple’s subscription management page for specific steps.
- Google Users: Go to Google Play’s subscription management for cancellation instructions.
